23 Quaint Towns Worth Traveling to This Winter

You don’t have to go big to keep your little snow bunnies entertained this winter. In fact, these tiny towns are proving just how much adventure one family can fit into a small space, with everything from sleigh rides and sledding to skijoring and sightseeing, and even a few that don’t include snowy goodness (hello, beaches and sunshine). Flip through to find your next pint-sized winter destination!

Midway, Utah (Appx. Population 4,898)

You’ll find the typical winter festivities in Midway, like tubing and cross-country skiing at Soldier Hollow, and ice skating near the festively-lit gazebo in town. But the thing that puts Midway on the winter destination map is the intricately carved ice castles. Like something out of Frozen, these enchanting castles are all about exploring, Frozen Sister meet-and-greets and even fire shows.
