The Marvel Studios production has gathered all the Guardians for the holidays
Do you like a little bacon with your holiday cheer? Thanks to Disney+, you’ll have the perfect amount of saltiness this season.
The streamer has dropped the first trailer for a Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special! As if the news that there will be an MCU hangout that doesn’t involve a life-threatening disaster isn’t exciting enough, it will also involve Kevin Bacon. Yes, thee Kevin Bacon.

With Peter Quill still mourning the loss of Gamora, his fellow Guardians set out for Los Angeles to find him the perfect present. Together, Mantis and Drax decide that would be none other than Kevin Bacon.
While the trailer doesn’t give away all the secrets, we do see the two make quite an entrance at “the legendary Kevin Bacon’s house,” and the Footloose icon doesn’t seem thrilled. “You’re coming with us––as a Christmas present,” says Drax, before Bacon heads for the hills.
There’s no word yet on how long the special will be, but knowing the Guardians, it will be every bit as magical as a full-length film.

Guardians of the Galaxy Cast
The holiday special stars all your fave Guardians, including Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket. Also appearing are The Old 97’s with Michael Rooker and the king himself, Kevin Bacon.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special was written and directed by James Gunn.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will premiere only on Disney+ on Nov. 29, 2022.
