North was clearly over her mom’s lip-syncing
Kim Kardashian is every mom trying (and succeeding) to embarrass her children. The mom-of-four posted a hilarious video of herself trying—and failing—to get her daughter, North, to sing along with her in the car while she belted out the lyrics, karaoke-style, to the Bruno Mars’ hit “Versace on the Floor.”
Her nine-year-old daughter, whom she shares with Kanye West, and Kourtney Kardashian’s ten-year-old daughter, Penelope Disick, sat in the backseat, obviously mortified by her attempts at singing. In the clip, Kardashian lip-syncs the 24K Magic hit, encouraging her two passengers to sing along. “Sing it, girls!” she says to the girls.
North was clearly over Kim’s antics, yelling, “Mom, please delete that! Mooooom!” in a tone every mom knows and mostly loves.
Kardashian embarrassing her daughter may have been payback for the now-viral TikTok North posted earlier this month, in which she transformed her mom into a Minion from Despicable Me.

In the clip, shared to their “Kim and North” TikTok page, she can be seen plastering colorful makeup all over her mom’s face, even nailing the characters’ iconic goggles. “MOMMY MINION,” North captioned the post.
Kardashian is clearly raising a no-nonsense little girl. North made headlines during a Paris Fashion Week runway show while seated in the front row with her mom, clearly annoyed with photographers who wouldn’t stop taking pictures of the pair. In a video, North can be seen staring down the camera and, without smiling, she holds up a piece of paper with one word written in pencil: “Stop.”
“For anyone who knows North knows how funny she finds this video!” Kardashian wrote about the moment on Twitter. “North I guess had it with the people taking pictures of her. She wrote on her invite STOP and held it up,” she continued. “And wanted them to just focus on the show.”

Apparently, that same confidence to say exactly what she wants extends to her mom’s singing. Lucky for Kardashian, her daughter’s opinion of her carpool karaoke didn’t seem to matter, and she posted it despite her begging otherwise. Match set.
