We’ve all been there: you walk into your living room and boom! It looks like an entire LEGO Store just exploded all over your carpet. Well one mama from Australia has a LEGO cleanup hack that you absolutely, positively need to know about.
Yes, you can use those dainty digits on the ends of your hands to grip and rip the LEGO mess from the floor. But the time it takes to pick up each individual plastic brick could seriously make you cry.

So what can you do to solve this toy-mess issue? Just look to mom Ange Dobbin’s super-smart hack that she added to the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook page. According to The Daily Mail, Dobbin shared, “Went and bought a pooper scooper today and it’s the best $8 I have spent for picking up my son’s Lego.”
Um yep. Dobbin’s suggestion is to use a pooper scooper. Mind you, a clean, unused pooper scooper. (Another clever mama also suggested using the scoop for those little foam NERF darts too.)

The scooper idea is so practical and simple that it’s one many of us have probably overlooked. And the beauty of it is, you can find a one online—like this 36-inch foldable jaw clamp scooper from AmazonBasics for just $15—or in just about any dollar store. Simply scoop, empty and enjoy a clean floor! #Genius
