All Aboard a 100 Year Old Subway Car
The subway ain't what it used to be - discover the MTA's collection of life-size vintage subway cars at the New York Transit Museum. Enter the museum into an underground 1936 subway station and mingle in and out of old-fashioned subway cars, trolleys and buses. Be sure to take a look at their online calendar of family and kids programs such as design a subway car, discover subway art, build a MTA "green" building, or stitch a quilt representing subway tiles. Here's your chance to keep travelers of all ages busy on the subway.
