El Cajon’s Public Library has many different age-centered storytimes throughout the week. Many of the storytimes include craft time, sing-a-long songs and and even movement classes!
For infants: Baby Storytime at the El Cajon Library is the perfect way to introduce Spanish and English to your infant. Held every Friday at 10 a.m., babies up to 18 months of age can enjoy stories and songs from their parent’s laps. The books and songs alternate between Spanish and English every other Friday.
For ages 0-2: Little Listeners Storytime is held every Tuesday at 10 a.m. the library. Infants and toddlers can enjoy age appropriate books and songs together with their parents while working on early cognitive development and language acquisition in a fun, social environment.
For ages 2-5: Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. is Books and Boogie Story Time! Preschool-age kids and their parents can enjoy craft time together after listening to stories, singing songs and moving together in simple, easy to understand choreographed movements led by a staff member.
