The Best 15 Food Halls & Markets in the Country

Steamy bowls of pho, chicken tikka masala burritos, gourmet gelato popsicles and burgers piled high with produce—food halls offer options like these and much, much more. They are the perfect spot for families because they provide a break from meal monotony, offer something for everyone, and just might push the kids to try something new. We’ve gathered 15 of our favorite foodie spots that are totally worth a visit (or two!). See them all below.

Pine Street Market – Portland, Or

The communal seating is particularly helpful for families at Pine Street Market as kids are able to get up and move around as needed. Enjoy the rich broth that comes with every bowl of ramen from Mirukin Ramen. Pollo Bravo offers tapas-style small plates as well as rotisserie chicken (grab the Winner Winner Familia Dinner to feed your whole crew). If the kids are cooperating, try the Shakshuka at Shalom Y'all—these eggs baked in tomato sauce are available for dine-in only but are totally worth it. Read about our recent visit to Pine Street Market here.

Must try: soft serve from Wiz Bang Bar
