Your not-so-patient wait for the grand opening of Disneyland Resort’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Southern California and at Disneyland’s Hollywood Studios in Florida is almost over. With a May 31 opening for the SoCal attraction (the Florida location won’t open until Aug. 29), Disney recently announced the what, when and how of making those coveted reservations.
Even though you can’t make your reservation just yet, the time is coming soon. Starting May 2 Disneyland visitors can reserve their spot at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. If that’s not soon enough for you, there’s another option—and you can get your reservation today!

Guests can also book a stay between May 31 and Jun. 23, 2019 at the Disneyland Resort Hotel and get a free reservation to the Star Wars-themed world. You’ll get one reservation to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge per registered hotel guest. All guests must have a valid theme park admission and you may not keep your Star Wars reservation if you cancel your hotel stay.
If you aren’t planning a stay at the Disneyland Resort Hotel, but you want a first-in-line chance to get a Galaxy’s Edge reservation, visit Disneyland.com anytime after 8 a.m. PT on May 2. Reservations are required to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and all of its attractions!
