6 Fitness Classes You Can Bring Your Kid To

Pregnancy came with some sweet benefits. We’re talking justifiable Dairy Queen splurges and late-night leftover pizza binges. Now you’re ready to pretend it never happened, but between naps, diaper changes and mealtimes, when do you fit in fitness? When you can bring baby with you, that’s when. Click through our album to find six group exercise classes that welcome your child, too.

For “Om”s & “Aah”s: Bloom Yoga Studio

If you’ve ever struggled through yoga, then this beloved Lincoln Square spot is for you. We love the warm-fuzzies vibe of husband-and-wife team Zach and Kerry Maiorca and the fact that all ages are welcome. Infants can hang out in the Mom and Baby class — or the Parent and Tot class for crawlers to age 2 — while moms (or dads too) work on poses that target post-natal aches and pains. Storytime Yoga (2- to 4-year-olds) directly engages little ones using creative narratives to weave together tot-friendly poses like “swimming like a fish” and “flying like an eagle.”

Classes are drop-in: $16/class. 4663 N. Rockwell Ave., Lincoln Square. Call 773-463-9642 or go to bloomyogastudio.com.
