Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum – Durango, Co

Book a bucolic train ride through majestic mountains along a rambling river, with two free train museums at either end, and you’ve got a road-trip worthy destination for your crew. Both the museums in Durango and Silverton are filled to the brim with historic memorabilia that chronicle the railroad and mining history of the area. Tack on an up-close yard tour in the summer and your education vacation is complete.
