It’s So Easy Being Green: 15 Earth Day Celebrations

Have a little one at home? Enjoy a morning of fun exploring nature with a hands-on program for your toddler. For children ages 1-5. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Little tree-huggers, take note: Earth Day is on Wednesday April 22, and there are loads of LA activities that will educate while you celebrate. From river cleanups to festivals, a party with Fairy Mother Earth and super blooming hikes, here are our 15 favorite ways to hop on the reduce/reuse/recycle (eco-friendly electric) bus.

Earth Tales, Woo-oo

(Sing to the tune of Duck Tales!) The Acting troupe We Tell Stories explores the relationship between Mother Earth and her children using a trunk full of costumes, props, and "all sorts of junk" to weave a world of extraordinary stories about cultures who shared this planet long before our time. It’s part of the brand new International City Theatre’s free Saturday Family Theatre Series. Learn more about this event.
