Here are our favorite ways for little tree-huggers to celebrate Mother Nature in Los Angeles.

Have a little one at home? Enjoy a morning of fun exploring nature with a hands-on program for your toddler. For children ages 1-5. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Little tree-huggers, take note: Earth Day is on Wednesday April 22, and there are loads of LA activities that will educate while you celebrate. From river cleanups to festivals, a party with Fairy Mother Earth and super blooming hikes, here are our 15 favorite ways to hop on the reduce/reuse/recycle (eco-friendly electric) bus.

Super Bloom, Our Kind of Super Hero

“The winter rains have made this spring a ‘super-bloom’ at Descanso Gardens,” according to the executive director at Descanso Gardens. So this year’s Earth Day & Botanic Bling is extra gorgeous (see image above!). This Earth Day outing let’s you wanted through the gardens spotting (and snapping) California Wildflowers in bloom, make a DIY insect house, do some family gardening and take a native garden walk.
