The Bass(ics): A smash hit in West Seattle since 1998, you’ll find West Side Music Academy in a green craftsman near the Junction. Owners Chris and Cami MacDonald and their great line-up of teachers give kiddos lots of musical experiences to choose from---private and group lessons, workshops, rock band summer camps, and vocal/instrumental jams. There are two recitals per year, plus summer gigs at West Seattle venues, including the Skylark Café. The Beat: Bass, cello, clarinet, drums, flute, French horn, guitar, percussion, piano, saxophone, trumpet, ukulele, violin and voice are offered.
Band Camp: The Academy offers Rock Band Camp for ages 7 & up.
