Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, we have seen story after story of resilience, courage and some of the best that humanity has to offer. Polish women are leaving strollers at train stations for Ukrainian mothers, celebs are raising money and good humans are lining up at the border to take in fleeing refugees.
Now we are seeing bravery from within bomb shelters, and none more so than this little girl in Kyiv. Captured by Marta Smekhova and shared on Facebook on Mar. 3, Amelia is seen singing everyone’s favorite song from Frozen, “Let It Go.” Can someone please pass the tissues?

Amelia, in her cheery star-patterned sweater, seems a little shy at the applause. Her powerful rendition of the song, which has taken on new meaning for everyone, is catching the attention of celebs and news outlets all over the world.
OG singer of the famed song, Idina Menzel, tweeted her response to the Ukrainian girl. “We see you. We, really see you,” Menzel wrote. Seeing as how the little girl shared her tune from the confines of a bomb shelter, that really means something.
We see you. We really, really see you. 💙💛 https://t.co/Vhln1MjXpX

Anderson Cooper was left close to speechless, saying “It’s hard to say anything after that except thank you, Amelia. Thank you for that grace.” And after watching the clip, TODAY’s Sheinelle Jones shared,
“That got me, my goodness.”
