Chris Evans has been busy promoting his new film, Lightyear, and the actor recently made an appearance at Disney California Adventure Park much to the delight of fans. And of course, what’s a trip to Disney without some photo opps with Mickey and Minnie?
The T-shirt clad actor was spotted on Pixar Pier snapping pics not only with the the mouse duo, but also Buzz Lightyear, Woody, the Incredibles, Joy and Sadness. While the photos were super adorable, they also showed Evans in all his awkward “I don’t know how to pose for a picture casually” glory.
Despite two different images, the actor didn’t seem to move a muscle between them. In fact, one could make the argument that he was photoshopped and we’d believe it!

Chris himself caught on to the awkwardness that was his photos and joked that he has “a very disciplined pose” and that they were not, in fact, photoshopped.
Fans quickly caught on to statuesque nature of Evans’ posing and took matters into their own hands by literally photoshopping him into hilarious situations.

Like any visitor to Disney, Evans’ photos embodies the “I’m so sick of taking pictures” cheesy smile and rigid pose we’re all guilty of. But make no mistake, we’d gladly be his statue sidekick on a picture-filled day at the park!
In the meantime, the debut of Lightyear is quickly approaching. The film, which stars Evans voicing Buzz Lightyear drops in theaters on Jun. 17 and gives the entire origin story of the toy who became a fan-favorite in Toy Story.
