If you regularly tune into her show, Bay Area LIFE on ABC-7, you would be excused for thinking Lizzie's job is to just do really fun stuff. She interviews movie stars, tries all the latest (and weirdest) beauty products, and gets to don full wench garb to report from the Renaissance Faire. But this multitasking mama from the Marina District of SF only gets to do such cool stuff because she is insanely talented and hardworking. She's a multimedia host/reporter/producer in both traditional and new media. She currently hosts and produces the half hour lifestyle show ABC-7, in San Francisco (for which she won an Emmy earlier this year), plus she is the editor of her own video blog (Lizziebtv.com). She has been working on Bay Area LIFE for almost two years and prior to that she worked as a morning news anchor and reporter. But if you really want to get to know what Lizzie is all about, click over to her Instagram feed where she and her two daughters (Malia, 11, and Ella, 9) get loose for #cardancefridays. Her incredible girls obviously inherited the gift of performing from their momma.
Proud Moment: "I feel really good about the decision my husband and I made to stay in San Francisco and raise our girls. Don’t get me wrong, we thought about moving to the burbs at one point but we love everything the city life has to offer. The culture, the diversity the arts, the music and even the fog."
Words of Wisdom: "I think two of the toughest things for me to learn in terms of balancing family and work were to embrace the chaos and to ask for help."
