Last summer we caught a sneak peek of Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough Chunks, a delightful ice cream-free treat that’s all about the dough. At the time, you could only snag a bag at two locations in Burlington or Waterbury, Vermont––but that’s about to change.
Yep. Ben & Jerry’s may be an iconic ice cream brand, but its newest release, “Cookie Dough Chunks” is coming to a freezer near you! The frozen treat comes in three flavors, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Chunks, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and excuse us while we gorge ourselves on all of them.

If you’re a fan of just the chunks, you’ll be able to enjoy this snack without the fear of eating regular raw cookie dough. The frozen product is made with pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour which makes it totally safe to eat.
Ben & Jerry’s dough chunks come in ½ lb. bags that contain eight servings of the exact same dough found in your fave ice cream flavors! The new vegan dough chunks are also the same ones found in Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert, which arrived in February.

So when will these little bites come to your town? According to the Ben & Jerry’s website, you can expect to start seeing them at select retailers, participating scoop shops and at the Ben & Jerry store in April! Each bag is just $4.99, well worth the price when you consider you won’t have to dig through a mound of ice cream to get the goods.
