Emma Stone is already set to fill the iconic furs of Cruella de Vil for Disney’s new live-action film and now another Emma might be joining her.
Academy Award winning actress Emma Thompson is in talks to join the cast of Disney’s Cruella. Following in the footsteps of Disney hits chronicling the rise of infamous characters, like Maleficient, the upcoming film tells the origin story behind one of Disney’s cruelest villains from the classic 101 Dalmatians.

There is no word on what role Thompson would play in the film and the storyline has yet to be revealed as well. Disney has, however, announced that the movie will hit theaters Dec. 23, 2020, which means it’s only a short matter of time before we get our first glimpses of this villainous new movie in teasers and trailers.
