The “Cheaper By The Dozen” remake trailer is finally here! The 2022 spin on the 1950’s classic stars Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union, and is coming to Disney+ on March 18.
Disney released the trailer today, and it looks just as fun and chaotic as the 2003 version everyone loved, with Steve Martin at the helm. The remake is a funny and heartwarming story of the exploits of a blended family of 12, the Bakers, as they “navigate a hectic home life while simultaneously managing their family business.”
Who doesn’t love watching a huge family try to make it under one roof? As Screen Crush reports, the screenplay was “loosely based on an autobiographical novel from the 1940s about a family with 12 children that’s already been adapted to films twice before. In 1950 the concept was a hit with Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy as the parents of an enormous brood. Then in 2003, it was remade with Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt into an inexplicable smash; the movie grossed almost $200 million against a $40 million budget.”

The movie stars Gabrielle Union, Zach Braff, Erika Christensen, Timon Kyle Durrett, Journee Brown, Kylie Rogers, Andre Robinson, Caylee Blosenski, Aryan Simhadri, Leo Abelo Perry, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Christian Cote, Sebastian Cote and Luke Prael and will be streaming on Disney+ on March 18.
