If you’re one of those people who never want a day at Disney to end (minus the screaming meltdowns and hot summer sun), there’s special news on the horizon. Soon there will be actual Disney neighborhoods to live and breathe all things magic!
“A Storyliving by Disney community is made up of something truly special,” shares a designer in a new video. The master-planned, new home communities will be unlike anything the company has ever done, but will come with Disney’s signature magic like amazing service, unique amenities and signature spaces with special design elements.
Disney plans to build these communities all over and many will have 55+ communities (because hello, magic never dies). Every location will have cast members heading up the community association, club membership opportunities, wellness programming, entertainment including live performances and cooking classes, seminars and more. And according to the video, you don’t have to actually live in the community to gain access to some of the amenities thanks to day passes.
The first community has already been chosen: Cotino, planned in Rancho Mirage, California, a place where Walt and Lillian Disney were known to visit. Ground hasn’t been broken yet, and this is the first of many details to come. You can stay up to date by heading to storylivingbydisney.com.
