Move over nachos, it’s time to let hot dog totchos get their shine. Featuring Nathan’s Famous® Beef Franks, this fun and delicious recipe opts for tater tots instead of nachos and hot dogs in place of beef. Plus: all the fixin’s we know and love, like cheese and black beans.

Ingredients

Nathan’s Famous® Skinless Beef Franks 1 pkg(s)
Bag frozen tater tots 32 oz.
Olive oil 1 Tbsp.
Taco seasoning 1 Tbsp.
Can black beans, drained and rinsed 15 oz.
Fresh or frozen corn kernels, thawed if frozen 1 cup(s)
Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 cup(s)
Monterey jack cheese, shredded 1 cup(s)
Cherry tomatoes, quartered 1 cup(s)
Small red onion, finely chopped 1/2 whole
Large jalapeno, sliced thin 1 whole
Sour cream, for serving As needed
Lime wedges, for serving As needed

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Spread tater tots onto a rimmed baking sheet and bake for a half hour.
  2. Meanwhile, slice hot dogs into 1/2″ coins. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced hot dogs and taco seasoning. Cook, stirring frequently, until hot dogs turn golden brown, about five minutes.
  3. Scatter hot dogs over crisp tater tots and top with black beans, corn, and cheeses. Bake for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  4. Top with tomatoes, red onion, jalapeno and cilantro. Serve with sour cream and lime wedges.

Save a portion of tots and Nathan’s Famous® Skinless Beef Franks to create a mouthwatering hash loaded with roasted veggies and hot dogs for brunch the following day.
