The Spice Girls got back together to celebrate Geri Halliwell’s 50th birthday—and seeing them dance to “Say You’ll Be There” will take you right back to the ’90s

Any time the Spice Girls get back together these days—for any reason—it’s cause for millennials of a certain age to drop everything to see exactly what’s going on. This week is no exception, after Geri Halliwell’s 50th birthday served as a mini Spice Girls reunion, complete with some dancing to one of the famous girl group’s most nostalgic hits.

Halliwell, who may be better known as Ginger Spice, had a party to celebrate her big birthday, and thankfully, most of the other Spice Girls were in attendance. It’s just proof that those friendships were as real as they looked on TRL—they’re still lasting to this very day.

David Beckham, soccer star and husband of Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, was also there to witness the get-together, and when all the girls took to the dance floor, thank goodness he had the good sense to whip out his phone and start filming so we could all experience this beautiful, joyful, nostalgic moment.

The video shows Ginger and Posh, joined by Sporty Spice (otherwise known as Melanie Chisholm) and Baby Spice (who also goes by Emma Bunton). The group forms a mom power circle on the dance floor as their hit “Say You’ll Be There” plays. It’s such a relatable moment among besties who are also moms—you can totally see yourself joining right in.

“Special celebrating Ginger 🇬🇧 this weekend and even more special to capture this moment of the girls,” David wrote in the video’s caption, adding a shout out to the fifth Spice Girl, Melanie Brown, who was, sadly, not at Halliwell’s birthday party. “❤️ A friendship for Life ❤️ @officialmelb you were missed ❤️”

The party looks like an absolute blast from the video, but in case there was any doubt, Victoria Beckham also shared some photos on her own Instagram, showing her posing with the other Spice Girl throughout the night.

“Love you @EmmaLeeBunton and @MelanieCMusic 💕 xx VB,” she wrote.
