As the coronavirus crisis continues more and more brands are looking to help. While it isn’t exactly business as usual, companies are working hard to get shipments to those who need them most. Here is a rundown of some of the companies doing their part to help out.
Crocs
Crocs said it is delivering shipments of their footwear directly to hospitals and other facilities, but it is also allowing workers to sign up for the free shoes. It said it will continue to donate the shoes as long as supplies last.
Krispy Kreme
Beginning Monday, Mar. 30, National Doctors’ Day, and on every subsequent Monday through National Nurses Week (May 6-12), Krispy Kreme will provide all healthcare workers free dozens of their iconic Original Glazed Doughnuts.” To get the free doughnuts, healthcare workers can go to a Krispy Kreme drive-thru, share their order and show their employer badge.
Krispy Kreme is also introducing a new offer for all customers starting Sat., Mar. 28 and running on subsequent Saturdays. For every pick-up, drive-thru and delivery order of a full-price dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts or more, Krispy Kreme will throw in a free dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts. The free dozen called the “Be Sweet Dozen,” will include a smiley-face doughnut. Guests are encouraged to share them with loved ones or neighbors to brighten their day. These doughnuts will be securely sealed and bagged individually, along with instructions for contactless drop-off, including social distancing and safety guidelines.
JoAnn Fabrics
The chain store is giving away kits to the public so anyone can make masks for doctors, nurses, and other first responders. In order to comply with social distancing, you can pick-up the ready-made kits curbside at your local JoAnn Fabrics, and, once you finish making them, you can drop the complete masks back at the store and they will be donated and distributed to those who need them the most.
Customers who want to take advantage of this offer can use JoAnn’s Ship-to-Home and Curbside Pickup options. There are tutorials and instructions online.
Hello Bello
Hello Bello is donating 100,000 much needed diapers, wipes and other essentials through their philanthropic partners Baby2Baby and Good+ Foundation.
