Your kids have been working hard all day; they deserve something extra fun when school is out! But what to do? How about she picks up some improv skills? Or, what about spending a little one-on-one time with Mother Nature? To get you inspired, we rounded up the most awesome after-school classes from coast to coast—flip through the album to see them all.

Be One with Nature in Eugene, Or

If you feel like your kid is more into the iPad than the back yard, send her to the Whole Earth Nature School, an outdoor school and camp program that exists solely to nurture kids' connection with the earth (Pssst: There are adult programs, too!). In the forests of Eugene, Or, kids will learn about nature by getting down and dirty with it. Besides playing games in the grass and among the trees, kids may also learn how to identify edible plants, how to turn sticks into a bow and arrows, and how to safely navigate the inclement conditions. The goal, says the website, is to "develop a personal relationship with the natural world that will serve them through their entire lives."
