Your kids have been working hard all day; they deserve something extra fun when school is out! But what to do? How about she picks up some improv skills? Or, what about spending a little one-on-one time with Mother Nature? Be a Little Zoo Vet in New York, Ny

Budding veterinarians ages 8-12 will go wild over this once-a-week animal care class offered by both the Bronx and Central Park Zoo. Kids will learn how real zoo vets take care of their patients—from how to handle a tiger’s toothache to how to anesthetize a fish. Taught by a Wildlife Conservation Society veterinarian, the class gives kids a peek at real veterinary equipment and supplies, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the animals. Parents can stay and watch, or drop off for the 90 minute class.
