Learn to Surf in San Diego, Ca

Living in Southern California has its perks, with year-round surfing (in warm weather!) being one of them. Consequently, the San Diego Surf School's after-school program is an easy sell to kids who long to ride the waves at the end of a hard day's work. Surfers as young as five can learn the sport (weaker swimmers must stay close to the shore and near an instructor at all times), with beginners learning surfing basics as well as surf etiquette and ocean safety. More experienced surfers will learn turns and tricks as well as a little about the physics of waves.
