If you’ve ever wondered what’s going on inside your toddler’s head, you’ll want to watch this hilarious video of a dad narrating his son’s first trip to the mall
Wouldn’t we all just love to hear our toddlers’ internal monologues for a day? That was the inspiration behind a viral TikTok video by actor King Keraun, who recently took his 2-year-old son, King Jr., to the mall—and decided to narrate the entire outing from King Jr.’s point of view.

“So my dad took me to the mall so that I could be stimulated because he says I’m a Covid baby and I need to see the world,” the voice-over begins, showing clips of a wide-eyed King Jr. taking in all the sights and sounds around him.
The video shows all of the little boy’s antics, including riding the “magic stairs” (escalator) and talking to a “woman with no head” (mannequin). He even, in very toddler fashion, loses one shoe, and after being unable to find it, gets dad to take him to Baby Foot Locker, where he scores three new pairs.
Toward the end of the video, they hit the food court for lunch.
“Did I tell ya’ll I love pizza? I was tearing that Sbarro up. You hear me?” the voice-over says as King Jr. does, indeed, tear up a slice. “Then I got thirsty and I realized old boy next to me ain’t been drinking his drink—he wouldn’t mind…”
Luckily, Dad intercepts just before King Jr. manages to swipe a stranger’s soda cup from a neighboring table.
As the pair are leaving, King Jr. pulls another total toddler move and forgets how to walk, making Dad carry him out of the mall.
Keraun told Today.com that he got the idea for the video from the 1989 movie Look Who’s Talking.
“I thought it would be fun to get inside my kid’s head,” he said. It definitely was.
