Dwayne Johnson knows how to rock a party—his daughter Tia’s 4th birthday mermaid bash, included. This weekend, the former WWE wrestler and movie star hosted a birthday party that really made a splash. From the decorations to the activities, the father to 3 daughters seemed to take a starring role.
Johnson memorialized his youngest’s special day on Instagram, writing “Big Easter/Tia’s birthday weekend!!! 🐰❤️🥳 🎂🧜🏾♀️🐇.” In his pictures, he dads so hard. From spoon-feeding Tia her cake—even kneeling down to help her get a better angle—to hoisting her up to get a good whack at the Ariel piñata, The Rock appears to be excelling in his role.
“She runs around NON-STOP like the little tornado she is and when it comes to eating her birthday cake, it all comes to a hard stop – meaning I have to stop doing what I’m doing when she says… “Daddy feed me” 😂🙋🏽♂️👍🏾” The former WWE wrestler has had his daughters at the top of his priority list since the beginning, though, so it’s no surprise his participation in Tiana’s birthday party went beyond writing a check to the vendors and showing up.
“Your crazy dad has many responsibilities and wears many hats in this big ol’ world, but being your dad will always be the one I’m most proud to wear,” he wrote on Instagram when Tiana was born in 2018. And just a glance back at his social media accounts will reveal the proud papa bearing his babies at all ages and stages in his arms. “I ain’t gonna be able to hold ‘em like this forever, so you better believe I snatch these cookies and love ‘em up every moment I can,” he adds. (Pssst. You’re The Rock. We’re betting you’re not going to have trouble picking them up, ever, but we love the sentiment.)
While images from Tiana’s party appear to be what you’d expect from any well-executed 4-year old bash, one thing did bear the markings of Johnson’s superhuman strength. “Then the Mermaid piñata takes a beating until it’s just a hanging head 🪅🧜🏾♀️🤣💀,” he wrote. And from the looks of it, he’s not exaggerating. Ariel has definitely had better days, but Tiana? This one probably took the cake.
