Ginny and Georgia season two finally has a release date—plus everything else we know about the next installment of our favorite mother-daughter dramedy
Ginny and Georgia fans rejoice! Just a few months after the mother-daughter-duo dramedy dropped its second season on Netflix, it’s been announced that the show has been renewed again—for two more seasons!
That’s right—Ginny and Georgia season 3 and 4 are coming. The cast got together in an adorable (and teaser-filled) video to announce the exciting news.
“We are so appreciative of the incredible response and love you all have shown Ginny and Georgia,” creators Debra J. Fisher and Sarah Lampert said in a statement when it was announced last year that the show was renewed for its second season. “We’re especially grateful to Brianne and Toni, who set the highest bar every step of the way. We can’t wait to return to Wellsbury.”

Ginny and Georgia follows free-spirited mom Georgia and her teen daughter Ginny after they moved to a new town in New England. While the pair started the show with a very close relationship, they struggled throughout the first season with learning that each kept secrets from the other. At the end of season one, Ginny learns that her mom had something to do with her stepfather’s death, causing her to flee the town with her younger brother—but we didn’t find out where they went until Season 2 finally premiered earlier this year.
The show’s second season saw much of the main cast return, including Brianne Howey (Georgia), Antonia Gentry (Ginny), Diesel La Torraca (Austin), Scott Porter (Mayor Paul), Jennifer Robertson (Ellen), Sara Waisglass (Max), Felix Mallard (Marcus), Raymond Ablack (Joe), Chelsea Clark (Norah), and Katie Douglas (Abby). Will they all come back for seasons 3 and 4? Based on the reveal video, it seems likely.
In other words, get ready, peaches! We’re heading back to Wellsbury and we couldn’t be more excited.
