Atlanta History Center Resources

Fearless teachers, we’re here for you! Atlanta History Center offers many dynamic resources to support educators and students inside and beyond the classroom. Our educator aids and digital tools are designed to spark curiosity, support discussion, and kickstart inquiry-based learning. Whether you’re planning to visit Atlanta History Center or are distance learning, we’re here to help!

Uncover the past with outreach visits, school tours, and traveling history trunks, find your voice with Poetry Out Loud, and uncover hidden talents with 4H. Elementary and middle school students can explore various subjects through engaging hands-on experiences, performances, historical simulations, and more at Homeschool Days. Our youngest visitors can enjoy an educational and interactive morning combining class time with craft time once a month at Toddler Storytime. Atlanta History Center also offers a variety of annual programs that explore and celebrate our shared history. We’re proud to partner with stellar institutions throughout Atlanta and beyond to provide unique, impactful programming that looks not just to the past but also towards the next generation of history-makers.
