Welcome to Imagine Swimming! As New York City’s premier learn-to-swim school, we are committed to instilling a lifelong love of the water in our students. Safety, of course, comes first, but at Imagine it’s not just about surviving in water, it’s about thriving in it.

When people ask ‘What makes Imagine different?’,  the answer is simple: It’s the teachers! We create small aquatic classrooms where every lesson is unique, with every child on their own path. Our expert teachers take the time to learn what motivates each student, to help them stay engaged throughout every lesson.

Just like NYC, the Imagine family is diverse and international. What unites us is our love for swimming. Indeed, our team of instructors resembles a United Nations of the swimming world. Wherever we learned, we all experience the same joy around the water. And our mission is to share that joy everyday, with each one of our students.

Lessons are offered for all ages 7 days a week at several locations across Manhattan & Brooklyn. Visit imagineswimming.com to find a class today!

Looking to relocate? Suburban Jungle specializes in helping you find the right town, and the right home—stress free.

Imagine if you had someone who would learn your lifestyle, your wants, and needs—then match you perfectly with the town and home that’ll begin the next (incredible) chapter of your life. Since day one, Suburban Jungle has helped thousands of people move from the city to the suburbs, from the suburbs to the suburbs, and, in some cases, from halfway around the world to a new community. No matter the move, though, we always take a “town-first” approach — in other words, find the right town for you and your lifestyle, then focus on finding the perfect place to call “home.”

Working with a Suburban Jungle Strategist to create your personalized strategy, you’ll schedule town tours with our local partner agents in each community. Together or caravan-style, you’ll drive through each suburb, with your agent sharing insights, need-to-knows, and other hidden gems from around town — the “intangibles” you ordinarily wouldn’t get a peek at until you’re well-settled in a community.

Corlears School is a nonprofit, independent, progressive elementary school located in Chelsea, New York. We provide children from toddlers through fifth grade with the foundation they need to gain confidence and fall in love with learning.

Corlears is one of the few schools in New York City that focuses exclusively on the early years of education — and we always have! In our five decades of experience, we’ve come to understand that these early years are the most crucial formative years for every child. We specialize in guiding this age group because we believe the start of your child’s academic life should be nothing short of exceptional.

Our interdisciplinary curriculum is tailored to each child’s particular strengths and needs, because every child is an original. We strive to create a safe and supportive — yet challenging! — environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and express their ideas.

We are driven by six core values: compassion, growth, courage to act, responsibility, belonging, and curiosity. These values are cultivated in every experience for students, families, and staff; we are driven to make the world a better place, starting in our own backyard.

Avenues: The World School is one school with many campuses that graduates students poised to become future world-wise leaders uniquely equipped to understand and solve global-scale problems.

Language immersion is a key part to setting this foundation. It’s only from ages 2–6 that kids soak up language like a sponge. At Avenues, we don’t teach Chinese or Spanish; we teach in Chinese or Spanish. From nursery–5th grade, students spend 50% of their time learning in English and 50% learning in a second language: one day in English, one day in Chinese or Spanish, and so on.

In the Small World program for 2-year-olds, children are exposed to all three languages, in preparation for formal immersion in nursery.

Learn more at a parent information event this fall.
