Imaginology Kids Camp for Ages 3 to 9

What makes Imaginology Kids Camp different? For one thing, we welcome campers as young as 3 years old! Secondly, the campers have the freedom to spend as much time as they want participating in their chosen activities. They could spend the entire morning in the Water Lab, or perhaps split their time between building forts and creating a world using magnets and recycled materials! Anything is possible at Imaginology Kids… do you want to build a big ice sculpture? Set up a Veterinary Office or Hospital? Yes, you can. We provide your camper with all the materials and equipment they need to make their ideas come to life. Our camps includes weekly themed activities designed to inspire STEAM based discoveries and include a Makers Space, Art Studio, Wind Lab, Water & Ice Lab, Light Lab and Cooking Lab. Our camp takes place in our big, bright indoor space in the heart of Silverlake, with easy freeway access.

Young designers who join summer camps at MODA practice thinking like designers. They collaborate with one another, develop empathetic solutions for challenges that matter to them, and engage in iterative problem-solving as they try again when something doesn’t work right away.

In summer 2022, MODA is offering both IRL and virtual camps. Our virtual camps are scheduled so that anyone across the nation can join them. And, our IRL camps are planned in such a way that they can become virtual if public health demands.

Summer Acting Academy

Oregon Children’s Theatre’s Summer Acting Academy offers classes for kids ages 3-18. Taught by professional teaching artists, our classes are perfect for any kiddo—from the aspiring actor, to the future comedian, to the kid ready to break out of their shell. Classes are held at multiple locations throughout the Portland metro area, and summer classes are week-long, with full-day and half-day options. Whether it’s their first experience acting, or they are ready to take their skills to the next level, our courses will help them learn and grow as an artist and as a person, while having fun along the way!
