At MJCCA Day Camps, children from Pre-K through 9th grade make lifelong friendships, gain new skills, and have the best summer ever!

The possibilities for an amazing summer are endless, with camps like Welcome to Hogwarts, Gymnastics, Pop Diva Dance, Food Science, Mine Island, Flag Football, Coding, Mermaids & Unicorns, Extreme Art, and Drama Camp. For summer 2022, we’ve added even more exciting options, like Shark Tank Jr, Kitchen Passport, Music Video Dance Camp, Volleyball, Elite Skills Basketball, Improv, and Extreme STEAM Retro Camp!

Your child can experience all the exciting outdoor activities at Camp Isidore Alterman, the MJCCA’s traditional camp, where they’ll practice archery on our new archery range, canoe in our lake, climb to the top of our rock wall, spend time in our new Treehouse, or fly on our new high-ropes course, featuring a new climbing tower and rope bridges that reach up to the tree canopy, leading to an amazing zip line over the lake.

We also offer a multi-week discount, before-camp and after-camp care, and bus transportation.

2022 MoPOP Summer Camps

MoPOP’s week-long summer camps celebrate pop culture’s ability to foster critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. Led by professional teaching artists, campers will work together to write and film original music videos, learn insider secrets and design their own museum exhibit, imagine and create their own fantasy worlds, investigate drag history and work with local artists to create their own personas, and more!

MoPOP’s summer camps run from July 18-August 12 and serve students ages 7-18. Program topics serve our mission to make creative expression a life-changing force by offering experiences that inspire and connect our communities. Early bird pricing through June 5, scholarships, and member discounts are available.

Summer Art Camp at the High

Dive into art this summer at the High! Artists will explore the Museum’s galleries and create original artworks. Campers will learn about the Museum’s collection and special exhibitions while honing their skills in drawing, painting, and design.

Ignite Your Summer with the Arts at CAI

Children’s Arts Institute has been providing a dynamic, innovative camp experience for over 20 years! Workshops are lead by professional arts educators who spark your child’s creativity and enthusiasm. Campers are empowered to choose their own schedules from a selection of over 50 classes so they are able to focus on the subjects that excite them the most. From Hogwarts to Hip Hop, Cooking to Coding, and Rockets to Robotics, there is truly something for everyone.

CAI offers three different sessions on two LA campuses- one in Van Nuys and one off of Mulholland in West LA- and campers choose from a different schedule of classes for each one. This summer, FACETS, the home of the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival (CICFF), is offering 10 in-person and virtual film camps for ages 8-17 designed to help youth stay creative over break. With a variety of camp options, from the flagship Film 101 camp to the new Introduction to YouTube camp, young creatives of all types can find something fun, educational, and affordable at FACETS Film Camps.
