The National Traffic Highway Safety Administration has issued a recall alert for six Honda models from 2021 and 2022 due to center seat belt assembly issues. Effecting the 2021 Accord Sedan, Accord Hybrid, CR-V, Ridgeline, 2022 Insight and CR-V Hybrid vehicles, the recall addresses issue with the the automatic locking retractor on the second-row center seat belt assembly which can deactivate improperly and cause a child to be unsecured.
The recall impacts over 4,000 vehicles and according to Carscoops, the company became aware of the issue during a routine factory visit that found movement within the second row center seatbelt.

Honda plans to notify all affected customers via letter by Jan. 17, 2022 that will direct them to have the seatbelt assembly replaced at no cost by a dealer. In the meantime, anyone with questions can contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138.
