Actress, entrepreneur and mama Jessica Alba recently revealed she went to therapy—with her 10-year-old daughter Honor. During her Campus Media’s Her Conference, Alba got real about what it took for her to become the best mother possible.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alba told conference attendees that she started therapy with Honor to “learn to be a better mother and communicate better with her.” The actress also opened up about how her upbringing influenced this decision.
Alba talked about her past, saying, “I didn’t grow up in an environment where you talked about this stuff, and it was just like shut it down and keep it moving.” She went on to add, “So I find a lot of inspiration just in talking to my kids.”
Of course, Alba isn’t only Honor’s mommy. She also has two other kiddos to talk to—daughter Haven and son Hayes.
