About 51,000 units are under recall and were sold with the Kolcraft Cuddle ‘n Care 2-in-1 Bassinet & Incline Sleepers and Preferred Position 2-in-1 Bassinet & Incline Sleepers. Read on to see all the details. To see if your product is affected, check the model number located on the metal bar between the legs of the bassinet. Model number starting with KB063 and model number starting with KB061 have the sleeper insets under recall. The bassinet was sold at various mass merchandisers from 2011-2017 for about $140. So far, no incidents have been reported with the Kolcraft product, but infant fatalities have been reported with similar inclined sleep products from other manufacturers. If you have a recalled sleeper inset, stop using it immediately. You can contact Kolcraft for a $35 voucher to be used online or a $20 refund. Kolcraft is also contacting all registered users and known purchases directly via mail.
