The students stopped by his wedding on the way to their homecoming dance

Kevin McClintock was focused on one thing on his wedding day when he ended up being totally surprised. The 30-year-old teacher’s wedding was crashed by none other than his students!

In a now-viral video, McClintock, who is known as @mr.mctiktok, is seen walking his parents down the aisle when he spies his students dressed in their Sunday best. Judging by the look on his face, he was surprised and more than moved by the sight of them.

“I ran over to take a picture with them and my wife (hiding in the parking lot) thought I was running away 🤣,” reads the caption on the video that’s been viewed more than 23 million times.

The teacher from San Diego has been creatively connecting with students on TikTok since the start of the pandemic. According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the 30-year-old private school educator had put off engaging with students outside of the classroom because of the harm that social media can bring.

But once schools closed in 2020, he gave in and created a TikTok count with hilarious comedy and dances. Now, two years later, he has 2.4 million followers who love his wholesome content.

McClintock’s video showed the genuine love he has for his students. “If you’re one of my students reading this, it meant the world to us,” he captioned the video on TikTok. “We love you and we’ll see you when we’re back from the honeymoon!”

The students made the special stop at their teacher’s wedding on the way to their own homecoming dance, and their outfits fit right in. Viewers of the viral video all recognize just how important McClintock must be to his students if they made such a grand gesture like “crashing” his wedding.

“My students mean the world to me and I was excited they all showed up and celebrated that moment with us 🥺” McClintock affirms.
