The New York Wheel

New York City is going to get its very own Ferris wheel, and it’s going to be the largest in the world! Right on Staten Island, construction is in the works to bring the New York Wheel to life. Currently set to open fall 2016, it’ll sit above Staten Island’s waterfront and offer views of the Statue of Liberty, New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline. When open, it can carry 1,440 people at one time.
