POSITION: National Account Director


Job Description

Red Tricycle is looking for a dynamic, strategic, savvy Media Sales Professional to join our sales team in New York City. This role will primarily be responsible for the generation and growth of online advertising revenue for Red Tricycle focusing on Ad Agencies and national brands.The ideal candidate has a proven track record in online and/or traditional media sales at a top publisher or media site, with experience in the family market. Responsibilities include meeting target revenue goals in the defined region. We’re looking for an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing client base. You must be results-driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities.Responsibilities
  • Proactively Prospect, Qualify, Grow, and Maintain a regional territory account list
  • Hit target revenue quota (quarterly)
  • Develop and cultivate deep relationships with client and agency teams. Engage and strategize with senior level executives at client companies to demonstrate how Red Tricycle can drive revenue to their business
  • Pitch new business to advertising agencies and direct clients. Proactively manage performance oriented accounts to drive incremental revenue
  • Proactively provide smart client research and industry specific information Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a deep understanding of the Parent/ Family market with a strong client and agency relationships
  • Proven track record of consultative selling, managing long-cycle projects, and driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
  • Excellent communication, analytical, time management and presentation skills
  • BA/BS Degree

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • 5 + years of Media Sales experience
  • Relationships with top marketing decision makers at traditional companies and agencies
  • Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing negotiations to successful closure, delivery, and renewal
  • Understand how technology works and the ability to explain in ordinary terms
