If you’re lucky enough to have crossed the American Museum of National History’s “Night at the Museum” sleepover off your list, congrats. (If not, add it to the family “bucket list.”) Either way, that’s hardly the only sleepover in town. You and the kids can sleep like royalty in a cathedral, a sailor on an aircraft carrier, a scientist in not one, but two museums, and more. To Sleep Like a Sailor: Battleship New Jersey

Battleship New Jersey is a floating museum (and actual maritime vessel) docked on the Camden waterfront across from Penn's landing in Philadelphia. Kids get the full enlisted experience on this overnight, eating a "chowline" dinner, storing their gear in a locker like real sailors and even bunking down in the ship's tiny sleeping quarters. The evening also includes a tour of the ship, viewing the Captain and the Admiral's quarters, seeing a simulation of the launch of a Tomahawk missile and a pair of souvenir dog tags.
