You never really need a reason to have some professional photos taken of your kid or family, but cooler temps, fall foliage and impending holidays are all good ones. (Capturing that fleeting newborn period is of course, another.) One of our favorite NYC photographers is Raquel Frechette, whose work, while beautiful, also feels fun, fresh and organic. Frechette is a Brooklyn-based photographer who focuses on newborn, child and family photography around NYC. The Pennsylvania native has two little ones of her own, and starting a family inspired her to move from a career in marketing to her current work. Specializing in kid and family photography, she expects (and enjoys) the wild and wacky moments that pop up when working with children.
