You never really need a reason to have some professional photos taken of your kid or family, but cooler temps, fall foliage and impending holidays are all good ones. (Capturing that fleeting newborn period is of course, another.) One of our favorite NYC photographers is Raquel Frechette, whose work, while beautiful, also feels fun, fresh and organic. Frechette offers a family session + 50 photos for $750; a newborn session + 50 photos for $850, or the opportunity for a mini session + 5 photos for $350. Mini sessions are held and scheduled twice a year in the spring and fall. You hear when they are happening via Frechette's email list here!).
