This season’s it show has made a majorly mod splash. We’re talking, of course, about Palm Royale. Another AppleTV hit, this 1969-set show has us both cheering for and cringing at the story of Maxine (Kristen Wiig) and her ambitious attempt to break into Palm Beach, FL’s high society. If the plot wasn’t enough, the fashion, decor, and full 1960s aesthetic would have us hooked.
From the colors to the prints to the fabrics, Palm Royale is a class in 1969’s, well…class. In fact, some of our favorite brands are embracing it all: Anthropologie, Tuckernuck, and, of course, Lilly Pulitzer (born in Palm Beach in the 60’s!) are all about this vibe, too. The Palm Beach socialites don’t hold anything back when it comes to appearances, so it’s impossible to not want to replicate it all.
