Our news feeds have been filled with many announcements from celebrities expecting babies in 2020 and 2021. We cannot wait to see who will be sharing more good news with us. Until then, here is a rundown of the stars who announced that they are expecting a bundle of joy this year. 

 

Alex Morgan 

Morgan and her husband, MLS player Servando Carrasco are expecting a baby girl in April 2020. The couple shared the news in an adorable Instagram post featuring pics from a maternity shoot.

Update: Charlie Elena Carrasco was born on May 7 at 11:30 a.m., weighing 8 pounds, 5 ounces.

The profound responsibility of being the door and representative of a whole gender to my little girl. (Now girls 😮😮😮😮😮😮) A big part of making headway in the equality of men and women on this planet rests on the relationship of Fathers and Daughters. I look forward to trying to be a better example of men to both of them. Also, I love the idea that at some point in her life she will be in a conversation with someone and they’ll ask, “what’s your family like? And her response will be, (pulling up this photo) “Well this is the photo of how they announced me being born 🙄...” Also in school they will be called “The Grammer Girls”. Grammer and wife Aijia announced that are adding another daughter to their family in 2020. The new baby joins big sisiter, Louisiana K.

 

America Ferrera

America Ferrera and husband Ryan Piers Williams announced they were expecting their second child on Instagram in a sweet New Year’s Day post. The new baby will join the couple’s 19-month-old son Sebastian.

Update: Lucia Marisol Williams arrived on May 4, just in time for Mother’s Day.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson 

Back in January, on an episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, Ferguson revealed that he and husband Justin Mikita are expecting a baby.

 

Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood

The couple, who met on the set of Supergirl, announced they were expecting their first child on Benoist’s Instagram page.

Update: Huxley Robert Wood arrived in September.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom 

When Perry released the video to her new song, “Never Worn White”, she also revealed that she and fiancé, Orlando Bloom are expecting a baby this summer.

Update: Daisy Dove Bloom arrived in August.

On the road again... pregnancy after loss is a whole other thing. After two miscarriages in a row we were ready to call it. I stopped trusting my body and started to accept the fact that I was done. As a birth attendant, I’ve seen and heard it all. It takes everything I’ve got to detach lovingly from the losses I’ve been present for and be in my own experience. When I was pregnant at 25, I knew nothing. I had no community. I dove in blissfully unaware about birth and its mysteries. Now, with 10 years worth of experience to pull from, I treasure my birth community and the knowledge I have. You’re already teaching us how to stay in the day in a way we’ve never had to, little one. Badgley and Kirke announced the happy news on Kirke’s Instagram account. This will be the first child together for the couple and the second child for Kirke. The new baby will make Kirke’s 10-year-old son, Cassius, a big brother.

Sivigny and boyfriend Sinisa Mackovic are expecting their first child in Spring 2020. 

 

Hope Solo

Solo and husband, former NFL player, Jerramy Stevens are expecting boy/girl twins. Solo revealed her baby news while co-hosting the beIn SPORTS Weekend Winners Show.

Update: Solo welcomed twins Vittorio Genghis and Lozen Orianna Judith on Mar. 4.

Topher Grace

Grace and wife, Ashley Hinshaw are expecting baby number two. The new baby will join big sister, Mabel Jane.

Kevin and Eniko Hart announced the good news on Instagram, sharing a black and white maternity photo. Eniko and Kevin are already parents to 2-year-old son Kenzo Kash. Kevin shares daughter Heaven, 15, and son Hendrix, 12, with ex-wife Torrei Hart.

Update: Kaori Mai Hart arrived Sept. 29.

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin have another baby on the way. The happy couple both announced the pregnancy on their Instagram accounts. The new baby comes after two losses last year and joins big sisters Ireland and Carmen and brothers Rafael, Leonardo and Romeo.

Had the sweetest day celebrating my 25th birthday with my quarantine family, who made it so special for me, along with all the love I felt from all over the world!
