Recipe: Jalapeño Popper Dog Dip

Parties and dips go hand-in-hand, especially when they’re fully loaded with cheese.

To impress your guests, you won’t want to shy from this easy-to-make Jalapeño Popper Dog Dip. Featuring Nathan’s Famous® Skinless Beef Franks, a delicious combination of Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese and tasting toppings, like crumbled bacon and jalapeños, you’ll love this pop of flavor. Nathan’s Skinless Beef Franks 1 pkg(s)
Package cream cheese, softened 8 oz.
Sour cream 1/2 cup(s)
Shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided 1 1/2 cup(s)
Shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided 1 1/2 cup(s)
Green onions, trimmed and sliced thin 4
Jalapeños finely chopped, plus slices for topping 2 – 3
Bacon, cooked and crumbled 8 slice(s)
Salt As needed
Pepper As needed


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook your hot dogs your favorite way. We suggest pan-fried with butter!
  3. While hot dogs cook, combine cream cheese, sour cream, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, green onions, finely chopped jalapeños, and all but 2 tablespoons of the bacon in large bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer mixture to oven safe baking dish and top with remaining cheeses, bacon and sliced jalapeños. Bake 15-20 minutes, until cheese is melted and starting to brown.
  5. Slice hot dogs in quarters and serve with hot dip.
