The East Bay is home to oodles of families, so it’s no wonder some of the very coolest museums for children are there, too. We’ve rounded up some of the best, from a center focused on video game creation to a bird lovers paradise to a spot for little scientists to put on their thinking caps. Pacific Pinball Museum

Check out pinball machines from the 1930s to today, and take in some of the amazing artwork that graces the games. The museum has 90 that are free to play with the cost of admission.
