Can you kid complete your local playground circuit (rope ladder, bouncy bridge, twisty slide, repeat) in her sleep? If so, it’s time to spice thing up. Marin County is bursting with drop-in indoor play spaces boasting bounce houses, building materials and new-to-them toys. Whether you have a school-aged LEGO lover or a little who is just learning to crawl, click through for our favorite eight drop-in play spots for all ages and interests.

Cal-Star Gymnastics, Novato

Cal-Star Gym is full of places to run, tumble, jump and play. Kids can create an obstacle course, practice skills they’ve learned in class or jump into the foam pit. For kids 5 and under, check out their morning power play. For older kids, ages K-8th grades, you can drop-in during the Gym’s Saturday evening power play (6-9 p.m.). Check their website for detailed dates and times.

Cost: $13/child for morning power play
When: Sat. & Sun., 9-10:30 a.m.; Mon.–Wed., 9:30-11:30 a.m.
