When Juniper followed this Spring, showcasing chic dresses and accessories, we realized we had underestimated the style quotient in this stroller savvy ‘hood. We hit the shopping trifecta when Mona Anastas selected a sweet Madrona storefront (conveniently close to Cupcake Royale and Madrona Playfield) as the headquarters to her Two Owl’s organic clothing line for babies and women. Her clothing is available in other fine boutiques, but the Madrona shop is also a boutique of its own, featuring her children’s line and a small but quality selection of wooden and plush toys. This season’s color scheme for Baby is royal blue, true red, hot pink, deep orange, natural, and brown. The baby tees ($20.00) and rompers ($28.00) are adorned with an embroidered airplane, butterfly, motorcycle, or intricate flower. We love the red motorcycle design on brown for boys or girls, paired with a mini cha cha skirt ($28.00) or pants ($28.00) Women’s clothes are not on display in the boutique; but if you utter the magic password (it’s ‘please’, silly), you can check out the super-cute and sassy cha cha skirt or longer-length flair skirt in orange, black, or brown. The organic cotton dress is so stylish and versatile it can be worn five different ways, ideal for the pre- and post-natal bod (or to camouflage your red velvet cupcake habit).
