If you can’t remember the last time you had a spontaneous family adventure or (gasp!) an unplanned Saturday afternoon, it’s time to shake things up a bit. No need to leave town, just put on your Seattle uniform (fleece jacket and Dansko clogs or Chaco sandals… bonus points for Mariners, Huskies, Seahawks or Sounders gear) and grab the gang. It’s time to act like a tourist for the day and visit (or revisit) our favorite touristy Seattle hot spots.

Theo Chocolates

Pretend You're Charlie in a Real Live Chocolate Factory
How lucky are we to live in a city that hosts the first organic, fair trade chocolate factory in North America? Yeah, pretty darn lucky. Isn’t it about time to go find out what makes Theo’s Bread & Chocolate bar and their Hazelnut Crunch bar so scrumptious? (We suspect Oompa Loompas). Sign up for their one-hour factory tour and be amazed and delighted as you learn the history and science behind making their chocolate, and taste, taste, taste all along the way! A sure-fire hit for all the chocolate-lovers in your family.
