Pumpkin Bash at Woodland Park Zoo
The animals won't be the only ones receiving treats at this year's Pumpkin Bash. On Halloween weekend, costumed kiddos can trick-or-treat throughout the zoo then watch as the animals stomp, chomp and crunch pumpkins throughout the day. Psst! One costumed child (12 & under) will be admitted free with each full-priced paid adult admission.

Hilloween - Capitol Hill
Start with some musical performances and a carnival, add in a costume parade led by a marching band, carnival games and plenty of treats from Broadway Avenue’s merchants, and you’ve got the perfect way to celebrate Halloween. Oh, and did we mention that it’s totally free? Sweet!

Trick-or-Treat at the West Seattle Junction
The Junction is bringing back good old-fashioned trick-or-treating this year. Although California won't be closed down, merchants will still be handing out candy to costumed kiddos on Halloween. Keep your eyes peeled for candy stations too. Families can also order a Harvest Fest Kids Tote to add to the day ($35). It's full of crafts, treats and a special surprise from The Junction.

Trick-or-Treat on the Seattle Waterfront
Get a jump-start on your Halloween haul by taking your costumed cuties trick-or-treating along the Seattle waterfront. On Sun., Oct. 27., kids can trick-or-treat from noon-4 p.m. at  participating businesses from the Ferry Terminal at Pier 52 to Pier 66, and parents can take advantage of free parking at several waterfront garages or the free Waterfront Shuttle. To top it off, kids can enter the costume contest for the chance to win prizes, interact with costumed characters at Waterfront Park on Pier 58 and enjoy live music, activities and games.

Admiral District Trick-or-Treating - West Seattle
Get your trick-or-treating done in the daylight hours and the day before Halloween at this annual Halloween extravaganza in West Seattle's Admiral District. Look for the Halloween posters at participating businesses and get ready to load up your treat bags with tons of Halloween goodies! Note: this event has been moved to the day prior to Halloween to make it easier for kids to participate who receive “early release” on Wednesday.

Trick-or-Treat on the Ave. - Upper Queen Anne
Each year hundreds of little ghosts and goblins head to upper Queen Anne Ave. for the neighborhood’s annual trick-or-treat festival put on by the Upper Queen Anne Merchants Association. This year, the festivities will kick off at 3 p.m. on the 31st, so you can do your trick-or-treating in the daylight hours!

Grab your buckets (or your pillowcases!) and head to Fremont for this annual trick-or-treating extravaganza that's back this year. Trick or Treat with the Farm Animals - Bellevue
Kids ages 3-9 are invited to put on their Halloween costumes and come to the farm for a very special tour. Your child will get to see what costumes the animals are wearing and you’ll even see an animal do a trick to get a treat. We’ll also go to the pumpkin patch and your child will get to pick out a pumpkin to take home. Come dressed for the weather. Registration required.

Trick-or-Treat on the Ridge - Snoqualmie Ridge
At this annul event, kids in costume will begin their spooktacular adventure at Key Bank where they will pick up their treat bag and passport. Visit participating businesses in the passport, located along Center Blvd., collect a passport stamp and a treat until you reach your final destination at the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA. At the Y, kids can turn in their completed passports for a special treat and play carnival games, decorate a pumpkin and play in the bounce houses!
